Comics University is a program for adults who want to learn about comics from local creators, scholars, and industry professionals.

In this short hands-on workshop, graphic novelist and comics professor Mel Gillman (author of Other Ever Afters: New Queer Fairy Tales) will present a short talk about fable and fairy tale story structure and walk you through the process of writing and drawing a one-page original fable or fairy tale comic of your own! Bring your favorite drawing supplies!
